About

Hiya huns,

You might be wondering what this is all about, and to be honest I feel exactly the same. I don’t really expect anyone to read this section… There’s so many review/reading blogs out there I doubt there’s anyone who’s manged to find their way over to this little site in the corner of the internet, but anywho, I digress!

My name is Chris (shocker) and I currently live in Bristol, United Kingdom with my boyfriend (who’s also called Chris) and Monty, our gorgeous French Bulldog. My life has been a bit haphazard the past few years, with me moving to Manchester, Cheltenham, Birmingham and Worcester for various reasons, before ending up back in my home town. It’s been really important for me during these times to get a routine in my day, wherever I am, so I can keep myself sane; and books have become a huge part of that.

I know this has been laboured to death, but books truly are one of lifes great treasures. To be able to transport yourself into a fact or fiction setting of your choosing and follow characters you learn to love or hate (sometimes both) is a great past time, with there being no better feeling than closing a book and thinking “Right……….. I think I need a cup of tea after that”.

I’ve made this blog because quite simply I can’t keep track of my own thoughts. I read a lot and quite frankly I kind of want to make something for myself, that I can go back to these reviews and remember what I thought of a book.. to actually put down some thoughts and reflect on what I’ve read (this is getting all philosophical My initial aim was to do a book review a week but that clearly went out the window. That’s still my aim so we’ll see how close we can get to that okay?

In the mean time, feel free to check out my other profiles, you can find me at ChrisFredGreen on basically every social media platform.

Hope to see ya soon dears, over and out x

      1. I love Skye. We also loved the West Highland Way and the SW Coast Path as far as Land’s End. (Although the weather was not kind toward Land’s End.)
